5 Minute Journal - One More Pound

Huh. Down one more pound. Go figure. Usually stress helps push it the other way. And ironically, I spent some of my calorie allotment over the weekend on things like a few Butterfinger eggs. Anyway, I'll take it.

Cancer dog went to the vet yesterday. They could tell at the start that he was not his usual cheerful self. Also, his cancer has progressed just a bit. We switched up his chemo, and they gave him some anti-nausea medication. When we picked him up, he was cheerful and bright-eyed, and much steadier on his paws. He also ate a bit yesterday, for the first time in a few days. I've got to be happy about that.

Even better - he slept through the entire night. Finally - a night of sleep broken only for rolling over or changing positions.

Yesterday was dance class night again. We're starting a new choreography, more folky in nature, using some Rom steps. It was a lot of fun, and I'm feeling very nice and loose this morning. I think dance uses practically every muscle that I have.

I've finally gotten to the point that I can walk up the stairs at work without pausing. I walk the landings slightly slowly still, but I can make it up without stopping. I can call that progress.
