There is so much I want to write about at the moment, but am sooooo short on time!
I've been noodling the next step of my fitness program for the past few weeks...trying to find a way to work up some enthusiasm for ST....knowing that I won't get where I want to be without it but finding it so hard to change...or even know which approach / program etc to start with.....
...then, as I was wandering around on the net the other night, I stumbled on something I didn't know existed....there is such a thing as an 'online gym'!!~!!!! There are many of them in fact! (Yes - I've lived in a cave for the past 10 years...). Anyway, long story short...after spending a few days reading reviews, checking out the various offerings etc, I made a choice and joined 'DailyBurn', and so far I am very very impressed.
After completing a little questionnaire about your level of fitness, how much time you have and what your fitness goals are, it recommends a program for you to follow. There is a proprietary algorhythm that follows your progress and makes changes to the program as you progress.
I did the first workout today and it kicked my a$$ in a very good way.
The first month is free, and it is a more-than-reasonable $10 per month after that. There is a nutrition program as well, but I think I'll dump it after the first month as that isn't a problem area for me.
I don't have any weight to lose - it's more about improving my fitness and building back enough muscle to look better in a bikini this summer. My %BF is back down to my 'normal' 15-17% (i know i know....it is a huge genetic blessing), and I don't think I want to get much leaner than that...so fat-burning is a much lower priority.
Will take measurements tomorrow and log my progress over the next month. Wish me luck!!
