Today was a good day!

Just a quick blog for blog's sake. Yesterday I started a dietbet challenge so I'm getting my butt in gear as to not lose any of my hard earned moola. Yesterday I ate well and worked out. Hard.

Today I woke up with a headache and felt like I couldn't get full. I had a good breakfast but still wanted more. So I had more. 2 kashi bars that put my calories at like 1000 before lunch, even.

I met a friend for lunch and ordered a turkey sandwich and didn't eat the whole thing. I ate 3/4 and threw the rest away. Yep, down the chute. Didn't have the urge to clean my plate per usual. I also had fruit for dessert instead of a cookie, or worse, ice cream. I know these are things normal sized people do everyday, but it's monumental for me because a) I like to eat and b) it's a shame to waste food. We then walked for a LONG time and I drank water and felt super healthy for the first time in a LONG time.

Then came home and lifted weights and did stretching. Who am I? Is the old me trying to get out? I've kept her trapped under this fat for the last couple of years so she just might be building up the strength to bust out. I hope so.
