day one

Day one went pretty much according to plan and pretty uneventful. I woke up early so I took a short walk and did my core and stretching exercises. Later I went to breakfast with a friend and then went to get acupuncture for my back. The rest of the day was quiet and after dinner I went to Chinese class.

My intention is to try to write a little some thing every day, because it’s the best way to keep myself accountable. Knowing I have to come on here and give a report is helping me say no. I think later on, I won’t write so often, but for now, it works.

On the weekend I will have a bit more time and write something a little longer, although honestly I thought I would be able to come up with something a bit more creative than this tonight. But it’s very late here, and apparently the brain has shut off. I did have one moment before I came home where I contemplated having a grilled cheese sandwich when I got home, but I didn’t want to have to tell ya’ll about it, so that got shut down.

Overall, I completed all my goals on day one except I didn’t get a serving of veggies in. And now that I am finished with the most boring blog post ever, I am off to bed. To end on a good note, I am doing an online Bible study right now and this is our Bible verse for the week and my focus:

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. ~James 1:5
