That darn scale!

So when I weighed in after a week of eating mindfully and logging my food, I was really disappointed because I lost only 1/2 pound. No matter how much you try to tell yourself the scale isn't important, it still is. I have stayed off the scale ever since so I wouldn't become discouraged.

So I was feeling "thin" last night after I got home from work and decided to get on the scale. BOOM! Down 3 pounds. It's amazing how much that can lift your spirits. Yeah, yeah, I know it's just a number; the scale isn't as important as how you feel; and you can be losing inches even if not pounds. Blah, blah, blah. I don't care how much you try to tell yourself otherwise, that number on the scale STILL has the power to make or break your emotions.

Anyway, I'm gonna keep doing what I've been doing cause it's working. I'm still liking the ACE; I'm still trying to be more active; and except for the weekend, I'm still logging my food everyday. I know it works.
