Brrr it is a cold March Day! However, I got my hike in, double the miles today and cycled a little bit. I'm really on a learning curve eating veggies and fruits for awhile. I take supplements. Yikes, dropped the B-12 bottle with a crash, so I need to replenish as I don't get enough of that, I'm sure.
I lost 12 pounds since a week ago. It is a no-brainer though, when cutting out all the sugar, butter, milk products, meat products, cheese and limited wheat. I am doing this to see if I feel good and to reduce some triglyceride numbers and the top number of my blood pressure. I'm drinking lots of water, but that is pretty normal. So far, since I mix and match my beans/grains and have a voracious appetite for green salads and all my veggies (nix the limas)....I'm feeling great.

    It is pretty quick how the weight starts dropping, when you neglect sugar, floury stuff, butter, oils, etc. I've been noticing a surge in energy and feeling pretty good overall. Thanks Don for the encouragement. Cycling is awesome, too.

    I've cut all sugar and grains since Jan. 1st and am 38 pounds wonders, doesn't it? :-)

    Roll Tide Cakaroo! Thanks for the 'You Can Do It'. This is like a game again, and I intend to win. My clothes have started to loosen. That is always a good sign.

    Yes, the freeze is about to begin here. Just covered blueberry blossoms. Hope we both warm up soon.
