Well today was my day off. Hubby got up early to take me to breakfast at his favorite place. He got a job and starts Monday. He is actually relaxed. He goes in Monday morning. We left and went to get him some work boots. We then went to the local nursery and got some plants. She has the ones I want coming in tomorrow so he is going to pick them up. I got a pepper plant today and some cherry tomato plants. We make a habit of dealing with local merchants rather than the big chains. It makes a difference for them and makes me feel like I know where my money is going. Small local merchants need our support to stay in business

Sounds like you had a great day today! I agree about supporting the small local merchants whenever you can.

I agree with you. I do the same thing, buy local, when I can.

You are so lucky to be buying plants. I can't wait. We have to wait until June 1st. Last year we planted just before memorial weekend. A week later we were scrambling to find enough old sheets, towels and anything we could to cover our plants because we had a terrible frost.

Good luck with your garden!! emoticon
