There are some things I am finding very helpful in my program. One is my electric grilli with removable plates (won't mention any brand because I don't know if we are supposed to!). The other is my breakfast sadnwich maker. I love breakfast sandwiches but they are rather expensive in the supermarket, plus I can make my own with egg whites, English muffins, tureky sausage, etc. I know we all have egadgets we never use, but I use these a lot. Do you guys have any that help you out? Save you money?

I also love to use that grill-- It is great for cooking boneless chicken breasts.
My slow cooker is another appliance that I enjoy so much. Dump the ingredients into the pot in the morning and by supper time, dinner is ready-- with no fuss, and with little clean up! It seems that the pressure-cooker is coming back "in style" but I am afraid of this. My mom's pressure cooker had whistling steam coming from it ----like it was ready to "Blow up"----!! And my husband's aunt was badly injured from her pressure cooker because it DID explode. Probably she did something contrary to product directions, but this event stays in my memory bank. Ha. Too, this mishap was many years ago and modern appliances have improved-- but I'll not try it!
My kitchen has mostly basic equipment. I used to think that I did not need a microwave oven, but it is a daily necessity-- for sure! Happy cooking!
