Late Night Eating

So, something that I realized this week is that I do really good through out the day when it comes to eating. When it comes to dinner time I just feel ravenous and have to eat everything in sight! I am a sweets eater and never feel satisfied unless I have some type of dessert to end my night, which usually throws my calories way off. As of Saturday (I have to finish what is in my house lol) I am no longer drinking soda. I think this is going to help me to drop the weight and drink water a lot more. Anyway, I'm really having an issue with this whole dinner thing. Even if I portion out my calories and eat good meals throughout the day, I still feel like I need to eat a lot at night. Does anyone have any ideas or tips?
