Back again

Sunday, March 16, 2014

Well, here I am again. A separation, two moves, a divorce, and many battles later, I put on everything I'd lost before. I developed some really bad habits, and was out of control in a lot of ways.

But I made the commitment to get healthy again. I looked in to a program at my local hospital, but it's too expensive, and insurance won't cover it.

Isn't it appalling that I could eat and couch-potato myself into diabetes, heart disease, and even worse hypertension than I already have, and insurance would cover treatment, but they won't cover a medically-supervised, not-for-profit weight-loss program??
