In an effort to keep focused on my program and to relieve some stress, I'm doing some reading. I went off my program last night and do NOT want to go backwards. Nipping it in the bud now before it gets too far.
I’m with you 100%. My BMI is OBESE, but I don’t feel obese at all. I’m 4’11 I have a 30” waist, and I can say I’m far from Extreme Obesity; I was that 2 years ago at 207 pounds. I say follow your plan, stay the course, feel and understand your weight inside of your clothes, and enjoy the journey. Don’t get nutty based on some BMI chart those charts are off. I have a friend who is a Body Builder, and she can’t stand those charts. It does not gauge the physical soft tissue fat or the fat you can’t see. This girl has those BMI test done once a year to see where her BMI is at currently, and she’s at 22% at 159 pounds and she’s 5’7, but the charts says she’s over weight. These charts can put you into a win, lose, or draw situation. I say choose to win, not draw.
Definitely good information. I do believe we let the "scale rule" and being a certain size. That's not what a healthy lifestyle is all about. SO . . . onward my dear. Keep going forward. You have lotsa company! 1708 days ago
