Get me moving - even on a day when I least expect it.

The time change on Sunday kicked my butt on Monday. I was exhausted and went to bed early last night. The bad news is that I woke up at 11:30 and couldn't go back to sleep for a few hours. Needless to say I was dragging my butt today once again.

Normally I have about 5000 steps in by 9:00 each day - when I was getting ready to leave the office today I had a grand total of 1800 steps. UGH!

As I stepped outside the above zero temperature and sunshine made me smile. As I walked to my car I could feel my mood lifting. As I drove home I rolled down the windows and opened the sunroof. As I pulled into my driveway I had already decided that I was going to go for a walk and try to get my 6000 pledged steps in for the day.

I ended up walking for 1.5 hours - all a round town people were out and about enjoying the beautiful day. I just got home and checked out my Fitbit saying to myself, "I have to be over 6000 now." YEPPERS!! I am not at 12846! WOO HOO. I will easily make this a 13K+ step day.

Now if you had ever told me that this morning I would have said you were crazy!
