I had a really good day today. Worked at pruning the fruit trees getting them ready for spring. Hopefully we will have a good crop this year and be able to make lots of jelly, preserves & can some for pies. Weather has finally gotten spring-like. High in the 70's today and tomorrow. Back into 50-60's next week but above freezing is great.

Haven't been to gym in over a week and beginning to really feel stiff and sore. I have got to get my exercise back onto a routine I can stick with. I know I'll be much more active working out in my yard now but I need the cardio and work on my strength training. Hopefully I can get it all figured out.

We have 2 peach trees, 2 apple trees and a plum tree currently. We also have blueberries, blackberries & raspberries. I am planning on getting a grape arbor going this year.

When we lived in the country, we did the same things. I hope we don't have any night freezes when your trees are in bloom, it seemed to happen often to our peach trees, the others seemed to be more hardy. It's good to raise most of your food and much healthier than market food, miss that very much.
