I rarely have that issue, but I find that a cup or two of coffee will correct it for me. I eat a lot of fiber and drinks lots of water, so that keeps it from happening in the first place. Also try pineapple juice. I hope you feel better soon!

I love your cat too! I think she needs a playmate! I have two cats I adopted in '09 and they have lots of fun together. They're in my profile picture area.

Your cat is adorable! aaw so cute.
Anyways I didn't know protein could do that, now I'm worried for me eep.
You are going in the right direction clearing out your cupboards, you don't
have to do everything in the beginning, baby steps is key.
I like to bake potatoes in my oven with a little ketchup and minimal salt, but in
    moderation.
    Hope things clear out :D
    Maybe some prunes?

Feel better soon. Hopefully your Dr. can make some suggestions. Maybe use egg whites instead of whole eggs or 1 whole egg and add whites to lower the cholesterol. Take care

Hey beloved, Digestion times can varies between individuals. It takes up to 50 to 53 if not more hours for food to digest and to move out of your system. I don’t eat loads of meat, but I can tell you that too much protein can cause a digestive problem. Meat slows down the digestion process it must ROT before it PASSES THROUGH. The average transit time through just the large intestine (colon) can be 40 hours, with significant difference between men and women: 33 hours for men, 47 hours for women. Now this subject is TMI. If you eat 3 meals with meat and 2 snacks, they will not pass through the body properly if you’re eating “meat” protein. You could have up to 3-6 pounds of waste lying in your gut waiting to move to the next phase. If you haven’t moved in 2 days, then honey I suggest you lay off the meat, go green for a few days, it will be a struggle, but helpful and this will get your digestive system working again, but if a plant base diet isn’t the way for you. I suggest you get some GREEK YOGURT & lots of water and water ONLY. My oldest who is on a diet as well swears it works. I hope this response finds you well.
