March Revival - Day 5 - Food inventory to make my eating plan sparkle.

I'm low on fresh veggies and oatmeal so need to go for a grocery run. The only meat I'm eating these days are tuna, salmon and chicken. When I run low on my foods, I tend to crave foods of yesterday. It's important for me to make sure I have a steady supply of heart healthy food.

I did manage to get my steps in yesterday and learned a valuable lesson while doing so. To continue to make progress, I can never give in to that inner voice that says.....I CAN'T!

    Loved this and to see all the healthy. I am going to the mart today to get that frozen mix - I use the frozen fruit as my snack now and it is so satisfying. Working up on my steps; not discouraged, pieces are falling together and I am just amazed, thanking the Holy Spirit for all of this.

    Anyway, I heard you didn't like them salmon burgers? Just asking, How are you cooking them? are you putting anything on them? Like seasonings? Have you tried to make maybe a mango salsa to cook with them? have you thought of cooking them with some veggies as to get some flavor to them? I don't, or should I say, I can't eat fish or sea foods, however, you know me I like to invent my recipes... So just thinking a bit, to help you maybe enjoy them a little better... emoticon
    Try searching for some recipes to use them and maybe, just a maybe, you may find them to be not a bad idea. Now you know I would make some thing up and you may like them... anyway! lol.... Glad you are doing better and are doing it! I agree with your thought... You must NOT give in to that little evil voice that sits on your shoulders to tell you, nope you can't do it, Sure eat that it soooo good! Get that music video you played the other day out and punch him out... emoticon and Say BE GONE!!! I don't wish to hear you any more... You just Keep on going because, I KNOW you CAN do it! I am so proud of you so go Carmel Go!!!!! Thanks again and will check on ya tomorrow! Ciao for Now!!!

    i dont know if you have a kroger grocery store where you are but they have an awesome variety of veggie medleys in the frozen section. :)

    Carmel, I love the Dole Mango in my smoothies, but I got fresh mangos, but I do plan to get some more frozen mangos when I can figure that into my budget. I did go shopping for a grocery hall and I need to get some more celery too and fresh strawberries, I had them but they fell on the floor during check out, and I said. I guess they are cheaper somewhere else. I won’t run back and hold up the line. Thank you for the March Revival, I’ve been having a wonderful March Revival and it has been thought provoking and full of awakens. I’m thankful, grateful, and I’m so glad that your friend named your journey in March. Carmel, this is a beautiful way to rejuvenate yourself. Thank you! Maybe I need to take you all into my fridge one day. It’s jam pack. I can hear hubby now. What are you doing with that Cam in my fridge? LOL! Thanks for sharing and I got blue berries too –loads of blueberries today. I think I got them because I love how pretty the blueberries smoothie turns out. It’s like a purple fiesta and I love them. We need a smoothie emoticon. emoticon
