Emily, Calzones, Winter Coats

Emily ended up being ok! $220 dollars later and she had some kind of an infection that was treatable! So happy because Mauri was so heart broken. I felt bad about the cost after having this cat like 5 months lol Mauri said "She was worth every penny!". I will say it again, if there's angel's Mauri is one.
Yesterday I made a big pot of creamy potato soup and calzones. Soup was good, calzones were ehhh dense. I came home from water aerobics last night starving to death and ate way too much soup before the calzones were even baked. Weight is not as pretty this morning as yesterday morning. I am trading some cabbage soup with a friend and her soup is way less calories!
I applied for a few jobs yesterday. I have Thursday off to apply for some more. My schedule for next week shows that I am traveling 2.5 hours again....ughhh. I am ok with this job, no dire need to get out now. I am ok rolling with the punches for a bit. It got me jump started on a lot of things. But I really don't like a job where I have to work thru the winter and worry about rolling my car on black ice driving 1-2.5 hours 1 way a day. I am such a worry wort. Maybe I can just work in the fall =P when the weather is nice.
Thanks to my mall walking, I have been walking thru Sears every week and watching their winter coats go on deep deep discount. My current coat came from Goodwill 2 yrs ago it's a columbia but it like sheds down feathers. Anything u put in the pockets comes out with feather on it lol So I had a hunch yesterday to go see what the discount at Sears was now. They were all 25 bucks! So I got a semi light winter coat that was 100 marked down to 25. Then I got a pretty heavy winter coat that was 160 down to 25. I never get nice department store clothes. I am pretty excited!
