My weekend away and hitting the "reset" button

Tuesday, March 04, 2014

This weekend I went away on a writer's retreat with my writer's group. They are a lovely group of ladies and we went with the intention to set aside time to work on the book we plan to publish this year!

We took turns being charge of a meal and I did two lunches ( SOUP!) and contributed one salad to a dinner.

It was relaxing and quiet, and we worked really hard on the book.

The first day we were there the pipes had frozen so we did not have running that was tricky.

Here are some pics I took of the scenery:

After the weekend I feel I need to hit that "reset" button again, so I am starting with "The Plan" all over again! Today I am on day 1 and Lis is also doing it so we have each other for moral support! emoticon

Next week is March break which is going to be challenging to say the least, not only do we "spring forward" and lose an hour but the kids will be home all week and we will be busy trying to keep them amused. There will be birthday parties and lots going on, so hopefully by then I will have gotten back to my pre weekend weight and added some more loss on.

Let me just clarify, after day 3 I will not retest foods I already know to be friendly, I will go ahead and test other proteins and veggies etc. Just using the same framework. Does that make sense?
