Quieter Week

Tuesday, March 04, 2014

I felt like I was recovering all weekend and then Monday I got my butt kicked again at work, or felt that way. Last season was so much easier, this season is much rougher, much longer days and of course lots of drama. This week is quiet and so is next week. Starting to kinda wonder if I will get used to this or need to find another job. I gotta look for some summer work anyway. Kind of thinking of looking into a bakery job or a cooking job. Playing it all by ear and see what is out there.

My bread for week 43 is a light whole wheat which I made to work toward a artisan pizza. rustic mushroom and potato proven├žal, never heard of putting potatoes on a pizza but sure why not?

Last week was pitiful for steps, this week will be better. Yesterday I woke up at 4:30 and did old skool werq before getting on the road for my job. First Monday I achieved that! YES! I was wiped tho and ready for bed last night at 8 pm. I woke up naturally this morning at 4:30. Got a nice long walk in with the pups in the graveyard. Except we had to drive there instead of walk there.

My weight is finally coming down!!! I have been sitting at 164 lately, yayyyy finally! Not sure what I changed up but I will keep it going! Besides mellowing out on exercise, body, your a funny one!

My friend who took my dad's 16 yr old cat (now 17) contacted me to tell me she's not doing so good. Hardly eating and drinking and looking weak. She's gonna take her in and have her looked at. Poor little girl, Mauri is just heart broken, she has really enjoyed having Emily around.

Did I tell you guys about my new flannel dog sheets that Scott asked if I bought on deep deep deep discount? Well here they are with my dogs. Can you tell which are real and which are fake? No me either!

The dogs certainly like the new sheets!

Sorry about the kitty, but yes, they do have shorter lives than we do. We were so sad when Cleo got so sick, about the same age.

    Gorgeous bread/pizza!

    Ha! Those are awesome sheets!

Great job coming down in the weight department :) It is always hard over the winter! I can't wait for some summer runs :)

You are such a good baker. I bet you would have a hands up on that kind of job. You could take them some of your endeavors. The pizza looked delicious!!

Good job on the exercise and the weight loss. Not easy in this kind of weather.

I hope Emily is okay. She is pretty old so I hope she doesn't suffer long if she can't make it.

That's what I call a dog bed!! LOL.

bahahaha your last line made me laugh! Always love the early morning pictures you post. There was a streak there where I was getting up most days around 7:30 and now I'm back to sleeping as much as possible...I chalk it up to the weather and not feeling good. My scale finally budged too! YAY!
