dissimilar muscles

I've been doing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and it's been hard and fun and I felt like dying a lot but I've almost made it through and I'm so proud of myself. I didn't lose weight because I've been on holiday etc and I'm still letting things go on the weekends but I didn't gain either so that means I changed a lot of fat into muscle. yay I notice the muscle and I feel awesome. But... my arms have been developing differently. I've always been stronger on my right side and I notice this big muscle on the right while I feel like my left side is still underdeveloped. But I don't know what to do with that. I felt like I worked out both sides to the same amount and still there's a different outcome. Do you have any tips what I could do ? Should I just try and get some extra strength workout with weights for my left arm muscles? I'm just a little scared of overtraining it.
