February Goals Review

Friday, February 28, 2014

1) I need to be more consistent with working out. That means 5-6 days a week. I didn't do very well this month.

2) I need to stay in my calorie range more often. I was in range all but a few days this month.

3) I need to eat at least 5 freggies a day. I need to keep working on this.

4) I need to read my Bible and spend time with God every day. I only read a couple times this month other than at church and preparing for Sunday School lessons.

5) I need to drink at least 8 cups of water every day. I did really well with this, I only missed a couple days of drinking my water.

6) I need to strength train at least 3 days a week. Still working on this.

7) I need to stick with Flylady and get my house clean. This needs a lot of work.

I've been energized lately by the promise of spring. I hope that you're feeling it, too. It DID snow yesterday, but we also had sun and a rainbow and 50 degree temperatures.

What CAN'T we do do now? We have all of the good months just ahead of us.

Meanwhile, keep it up! When I see your name cross the feed, I say, "Yep. There she goes!"

    Enjoy March fully!

I have to constantly remind myself to gauge my evaluations not by looking to where I want to be, but by looking to where I am coming from. It is progress, not perfection, that I need. If I look for perfection, I am constantly disappointed, but if I keep my thoughts on progressing forward, I can look back and be pleased with forward motion. It may take awhile to get to the place I want to be, but if I fall constantly to frustration over how far I still have to go, I will never get there. Being alert to forward motion, however small, helps me see that I can get to goal as long as I keep pressing forward. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

You really did well besides a few slip ups. You'll get it all straight. You have the motivation. You can't tell by your fitness minutes that you are not working out as much. I got a bit sluggish after I went home for Christmas. Was off of my schedule ad couldn't get on Spark like I was used to. That really messed me up! emoticon

I'm back to it and today I really started STRONG and that's how this entire month will be for me. I'm living STRONG and LONG and YOU are too! Let's DO It!
