I had a pretty good weigh in on Wednesday. I lost 2 lbs.! So in 6 weeks, I've lost a whopping 3 lbs.! However, that's much better than the trend I was on prior to that --- gaining weight! I am 9 lbs. away from my goal!

If I'm completely honest with myself, I haven't been as "diligent" as I was 3 years ago on Weight Watchers when I reached my goal weight. I was so determined to finally loose all of the "baby weight", etc. (my youngest was 10 at the time) and make good health my priority. I had just turned 50 and I wanted to be "Fit and 50"!

So I lost the weight and joined a running program. I've always been athletic and even with the extra 45+ lbs., I was still pretty healthy. I've managed to maintain my 46 lbs. weight loss for almost 3 years (give or take 5+ lbs. or so).

I was really disappointed in myself for "letting go" with eating and gaining 12 lbs. in less than 4 months. It's certainly going to take longer to loose the 12 lbs.

So, I'm happy with the loss and looking forward to Spring and getting back to goal. My February goals end at my 3/5 weigh in , so I'll wait until next week to set some March goals.

We're going to have another beautiful weekend so I'm looking forward to spending time outside. I really want to get back to running 3 miles. I'm disappointed that I can't join the running program with my old running coach, but once again, the timing is off! The class starts on Monday and will be for 8 weeks (M/W). On Monday I have to work registration for DD#2 volleyball team's junior camp and Wednesday's are my Weight Watchers meetings.

I'm going to dust off my C25K program again and "start over". DD#3 found out on Wednesday evening that she didn't make track at her Middle School. She was disappointed, but I think she realizes that she just didn't have enough time to train. She said she wants to keep running and "working at it", so we're going to go to the park tonight. Now she says she wants to go to the cheerleading meeting on Monday! Cheerleading is very competitive, but the Middle School has football and basketball cheerleading and she did basketball cheerleading when she was little, so "more power to her" if she wants to try!
