Cadbury Creme Egg Diet

It's Cadbury Creme Egg season again, and I've been buying them and eating them. No, not as my entire nutritional plan, as my title would suggest, but in order to treat myself and keep myself motivated. When I pack a lunch for work, I want to have something to look forward to, so I pack a "trackable" sweet, like a Peppermint Patty or a Creme Egg or some mixed nuts.

My point here is, you need to make sure you aren't depriving yourself or you'll set yourself up for failure. The Creme Eggs are 150 calories, but they are so sweet and rich that I find my sweet tooth is pretty well satisfied by them.

What "diet" are you on? What are you using to treat yourself and keep yourself on track without depriving yourself?

    Cadbury eggs are not my thing, however I agree with the not depriving oneself og pleasures as long as the pleasures are done in moderation! nice blog you made my day!

    Haha! Ironic. It's like sticking your tongue out at failure and taunting it with the very thing it tries to taunt you with.

    I do it too. With sea salt dark chocolate, glazed or honey roasted nuts, butter pecan ice cream or ginger snaps. I don't have a sweet tooth, but I find these things satisfy me during certain moments. I'll treat myself a few times a week with a small amount of any of these.

    Great post. And you are exactly right. As soon as you deprive yourself of something like that, it makes staying on track harder and harder. Keep up the good work :)
