Well, I went to the doctor for my annual physical yesterday, and got good news and bad news. The good news, I am down to 216 pounds, so I've lost 9 pounds in two weeks since I last weighed myself. Woohoo! I have been carefully watching what I eat and walking every day during my lunch hour so I'm sure this helped. The bad news, I have been diagnosed with PCOS, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. She is putting me on Metformin for it and also a birth control to try to help regulate some. So far the Metformin is makng me feel pretty crappy. I was up most the night last night sick. We will see if it keeps it up, if so I may end up seeing if there is a different medicine I can take for it. She is also putting me on the Suzanne Somers diet so we will see how that goes. Reading some stuff about PCOS, it seems pretty scary and overwhelming to me right now. Especially when it comes to pregnancy and child birth stuff. I am hoping by that point I will have lost enough wait to potentially take care of it myself without Metformin so I stand a better chance but we will see. All kind of overwhelming right now so lots of prayers needed!
