Off the Rabbit Trails At Last!

Tuesday, February 25, 2014

It has been almost a year since I last blogged. How time flies. Unfortunately, I have done zilch in the weight loss department. Well, I am back and determined to be more intentional about losing the extra pounds, improving my health, and living my life in general. All with God's help. He is always with me. It is I who make wrong choices and get off on rabbit trails that lead to failure. Those rabbit trails lead to rabbit holes that only trip me up in the end.

It has been a good year in that I now have a wonderful Christian man in my life. We have known each other for a couple of years but last spring God began moving us together. After losing my husband, Gary, I never dreamed there could be another in my life as special as he, but I was wrong. God had other ideas and has brought us together in such a beautiful way.

Also, last April I had my second successful knee replacement. What a blessing to be able to walk normally again. There have been many other blessings for which I am so thankful.

Now, it is time for me to purpose to lose the excess weight that is affecting my spiritual and physical life so negatively.

My best to all who read this and I pray the Lord's blessings for you all.
