Moving Targets

Well, I seem to have left the weight plateau. I'm actually starting to see some downward movement in the scale. At the same time, by fasting blood sugar is going up. Now to go through the tedious process of figuring out what I've been eating that's caused the increase.

I'm noticing a change in my body shape. There's less of me on my sides, my pants are fitting better in the waist, and are baggy in the thighs and rear. Shirts and blouses are fitting better. So I guess I'll call it win for the time being and move on!

This week is presenting a challenge to keep the momentum going. I'll be out of town at the end of the week, without my normal means of staying active. I don't know the neighborhood I'll be staying in, the weather can be problematic for walking, and I'm going to be stuck sitting for way too much of the time. I WILL figure it out!

    For your traveling, do you have a small DVD player? Pack it and a couple of your favorite exercise DVD's and you're good to go!

    I see by your feed that you like to dance - just put on some music and dance away.

    A jump rope doesn't take up much space in your luggage and can be a real workout.

    Just a few suggestions if you can't get outside.
