HM training notes - Saturday 7-miler

I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful morning to get in my 7 mile training run! Saturdays are my long distance training days where I head to the hills. My first challenge is "Water Tank Climb" - my goal is to walk less and less of the 200ft climb each week (in 0.4 miles my elevation increase 200ft - I'll have to calculate that slope later, but it's pretty steep!)
Run stats: 7.40 miles in 1:18:55; avg pace 10:40; total climb - 891 ft. I miscalculated where to turn around and ended up running a bit more than 7 miles. I did check my time at 7.0 miles and I was at 1:15.
I feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful location that allows me to leave my house and head straight out on trails! This pic is from my turn-around spot looking back over my neighborhood.
Tomorrow is a non-running day and I plan to get in lots of kettlebell training :)
