Last time I went on "The Plan by Lyn- Genet" I struggled. I was reactive to a lot of things and as a result got bored with what I could have.
This time , here I am on day 21 and I am still at it and I have lost, to date, 0.2 short of 9 pounds!
Since Feb 1st.
Last night was steak night, and this is what my plate looked like:
Sautee'd Kale on the side was delicious and I added come boiled carrots. I forgot to add avocado to the greens! O well!
I was still down 0.6 of a pound this morning ! And let me tell you a little secret....I usually have more than the 1 oz of dark chocolate a day, but no more than 2 oz!
had 1/2 glass of wine with dinner and that really seemed to help with the digestion of the steak. I got in my quota of water, although it is still a battle to keep up with it! I find at the end of the day I am chugging it back to catch up!
This morning I realized I had not tested hemp officially so decided not to have the Hemp Protein pudding, so opted for my own version, which included 1/2 cup blueberries and almond milk.
Let me show you what I did:
First I put blueberries, water and almond milk in the blender, then added it to the chia seeds.
At fist the seeds sort of swim in the liquid:
Then I let it sit for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally:

Then I let it sit a little longer until the liquid was mostly absorbed and then added a little coconut cream and stirred ( skimmed off the top of a can) and then topped it with some coconut cream to make it pretty and added almonds:
Lunch is going to be this:
broccoli soup with a salad on the side!
Who knows what dinner will be, I am supposed to have chicken or fish, but I don't have either in the house! Sigh!
I'll let you know how that turns out!
I am 2 pounds away from my goal! WHoo hoo!
