Aloha

One last post to say good-bye and then I am gone. I'll stay gone for as long as it takes to get my Spark back. Being gone might be permanent, but I don't know.

I need to get back to basics, and, as you know, SparkPeople has a lot of extras (including noxious ads that permeate everything).

When it came to the extras, first I dipped my big toe in. Then I jumped in with both feet.

Now I just feel like I'm drowning.*

So I am going to rescue myself any way I can. And that means leaving Spark behind and getting back to basic tracking using a different site.

* Special Note to members of the Hogwarts Team Challenge: I am sorry I let the team down. But in truth, that whole team thing was the straw that broke the camel's back. I felt I was just holding my own, learning how to navigate the challenges, when out of the blue a massive overhaul was introduced. It was too much for me. I couldn't go with the flow anymore. I felt drowned in the waves of change. I'm sorry.
