Back on Track - Day 20 of The Plan

Good afternoon!

What a lovely surprise to be down a whole pound this morning! And I feel so much better for it! I don't know why....but I do...not just being happy about it, just physically lighter somehow! So back to my total weight loss of 8 pounds!

Today I had flax seed granola for breakfast, sorry did not take a pic. Then I went out for coffee with a friend and only had one cup! Whoo hooo!

Then by they time I got back from my duty at the school I was starving so I heated up some TImbale for lunch with romaine and a few carrots.
O my word that Timbale is soooo good!

I was going to test Rye ( Rye crackers) this afternoon at snack time but then I thought I can't because I had that latte out, and who knows what they put in it! So I will just stick to not testing today! I am having steak for dinner anyways, and that is always slower to digest than the fish or chicken.

I will save the Rye for tomorrow.

Last night was a late night with music practice and shoveling snow in preparation for the rain we are supposed to get tonight to prevent flooding! And then I went to the grocery store to get stocked up on Kale, Blueberries and Dandelion Tea!

My biggest struggle is still getting through the water! emoticon
This afternoon I have some editing work to do and then it's dinner, a quick nip out to the grocery store AGAIN ( Unless I can get the car tomorrow) and then MOVIE NIGHT WITH DH! ( at home! ) I need to relax!

Saturday is not going to be relaxing, we have a parenting group we are going to and then Sunday is the Annual AGM.( For our church...) I am also doing the music this Sunday so it will be an early morning!

BUT....NEXT weekend I am going away on a writer's retreat and will be away for the weekend! I will try my best to stick to "the Plan" but it is not going to be easy! Will have to take a case of water bottles! LOL We are going to one of the ladies' cottage! It will be just the thing I need!

Before I end off I wanted to THANK all of you who cheered me on when I was a little frustrated yesterday! Thank you so much!

    Great looking meal! I'm going to have to google it! Great work trying to get in the water. I always seem to slack during the day and then end up drinking a lot at night...which means getting up a lot to go to the bathroom. We all have our good and bad days. Keep at it!

    I'm just so happy for your progress! And the writer's retreat sounds perfect - just eat mindfully but don't let food worries spoil one moment of your relaxing time with your friends! There is nothing like a weekend away from our usual lives to renew us!! You've worked HARD this month - you deserve to relax. I'm still learning to relax AND eat mindfully and don't always succeed - but I've done it often enough to know it is possible!! Hugs, Marilyn

    I loved The Plan but found I was sensitive to just about everything, including things she suggested didn't need testing.

    Love the look of your lunch. Looks like it would be delicious AND satisfying.

    Hope you have a great time on your writer's retreat. I did a conference in CO a couple years back and had a great time.

    That Timbale does look good. I only made that a few times. If I used enough cheese for it to be tasty, it was too much cheese for my body to handle. emoticon

    It's a day by day grind. I've been in a bad streak myself as of the past week or so. Seems the work thing has been weighing heavy on me with a key employee ending her time with us tomorrow to move on to another job. She said she'd help on weekends which was very nice of her.

    Keep the faith and I'll try to do the same.
