Gym Day

So the stir-fry turned out pretty yummy last night! Everyone seemed to like it and I was able to season it with a little bit of ground ginger, black pepper, Chinese 5 Spice, and a tiny bit of lower sodium soy sauce. Overall it was good and definitely a keeper.

Tonight I'm making a package of potato gnocchi (the Italian in me has been craving them since I bought them!) with some Prego Artisan Three Cheese Alfredo Sauce along with a side of steamed broccoli.

I weighed-In today and I am 192.0 and my body fat % is now 33.6%! I noticed my water % is going up and is now 49% and my muscle % is now 38.8% which is an increase. I was wondering why the scale hasn't budged much but the fact my % are improving is the best indicator for me to know that I am experiencing progress.

About a week ago I bought my first ever pair of DKNY jeans which I have never in my life have been able to fit in to. They fit amazingly well and now... they're loose! I guess I'm okay with that because it means my body is changing although the weight is coming off slowly now. I'm just happy to see that changes can still happen even though the scale is not showing much. When I went to Old Navy during the weekend I squeezed into a size 12 but it was a bit too tight for my liking but knowing I'm so close to a 12 is definitely something to be happy about.

I'm going to finish sparking for today and then go for my hour long walk. Tonight is gym night and will be doing 40 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of strength training. After the gym we're going to go to Food Maxx and get some more grocery shopping done. I also finally got the police report in the mail yesterday so today I'm going to fax it over to the Tax Franchise Board so they can start their investigation and remove the tax returns from 2011 and 2012 from my account.
