COMMIT & SUBMIT (2014 - Blog #50)

You have used them or seen them - the button online you can click to ADD TO WISH LIST. And the stuff sits in that wonderful little basket until you do one of two things. Either dump the wish or take action and move them into your SHOPPING CART. And you still have another step! You gotta COMMIT to buying the stuff and then you have to hit SUBMIT to really get your stuff.

And so it follows that our lives are like many little opportunities to ADD goals, achievements to a WISH LIST. We dream of accomplishments, trips, events, people and a healthy life... All of those things stay on the WISH LIST until either we decide to abandon the wish or until we take action to achieve.

Once we decide to move our goals from the WISH LIST to the SHOPPING CART, we really still much more work to do. We have to COMMIT and SUBMIT to doing. We take our vision and make it a reality through a lot of hard work and focus.

Bottom line:
We can't just wish ourselves to health.
We can't just buy stuff that is more healthy (equipment, food).
We actually have to commit to eating well, exercising regularly and we have to commit to this for both for the rest of our lives.

If we do not transfer our goals from the wish list, our goals will remain wistful sighs.


So.. today is the day to HIT SUBMIT -- Submit and commit to YOUR goals!
