When life is not going your way... How do you handle it? I used to run to food... I would comfort every emotion with food. Mac and cheese when I'm upset, Cake and ice cream when I am sad or celebrating for that fact... Fried food when I am out with family. Bread all times of the day!

Today has been a rough one for me... It has been a emotional rollercoaster of a day. So what do I do? I had oatmeal for breakfast like everyday, I had my snack like I do everyday, I skipped the coffee today because I didn't want to sugar high I get from it. I have my lunch planned out, dinner planned out and a map to the gym planned out after work because NOTHING will derail me.

I am processing my emotions by writing about it. I am dealing with my issues by trying to fix what I can, letting go of what I cannot and honestly staying on track and knowing whatever happens, will happen and there is nothing I can do to change it.

Accept your fate and move on.

    I think channeling your emotions into writing is a wonderful way of dealing with them! I do that as well, in 2 ways; I have my blog on here that I use for things that are ok to share with the public, and then I have a journal that I write about things that aren't ok for public consumption. There's something so soothing about letting words flow onto paper for me. I hope whatever challenges you're facing are resolved soon. I'm here if you need to chat!
