I love Saturdays. Saturday is the day I get to sleep in a little, relax in my jammies, and plan for the upcoming week. I make sure that my menu is planned, my chores for the week are planned out based on any appointments I may have, and I plan what dgd and I are going to do the three days she is here during the week.
Even though today is Saturday, DGD is going to be here for a few hours today. She and I are planning on going outside for a little while this morning. Yesterday we went out and played after naptime. She played on her sled while I shoveled the driveway yet again. I hope winter ends soon!!!!! Today we will play on her sled, make show angels and go for a walk around the block. She hates going for walks, but she goes because she knows Nana needs a walk!
I am the only one who can do this for myself.
I make the choice of what I put in my mouth.
I make the choice to exercise daily.
I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind.
I make the choice to be healthy!
Goals for today:
~ read my mantra
~ 80 oz water
~ 15,000 steps (19,348 yesterday)
~ 25 flights of stairs (17 flights yesterday)
~ keep an open mind
~ journal every bite
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and as one snack today
~ laugh out loud today
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff
Time to make plans.....and stick to them....
