Taking the Walk of Shame!

Saturday, February 08, 2014

Well it happened my weight went up this week!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon Why I don't know! I do know that I have not been able to make to the gym due to personal problems but I have made sure to get in at least 30 minutes of walking or movement. I have been tracking and watching my intake so what happened!!! emoticon m emoticon emoticon I was so disappointed when I got on the scale that I did not want to post my weight but I know I can't let down my team so I just took the walk of shame.
I am feeling very down because of this but I did make it to the gym today and I will continue with what I am supposed to do and maybe if I let go of some of my stress I might do better this week.
There is no excuse -- so sorry to all my teammates -- and I will try my hardest this week!! emoticon m emoticon emoticon emoticon

No shame at all needed. Stop beating yourself up. It will stunt your weight loss ability further due to the stress, no to mention the stress you are already under sweetie. The gain on the scale happens to the best of us. Happy you are getting back to what was working for you previously. It could be that you just retained some fluid and that caused the scale numbers to move up. Now, that said, Please give me a similar pep talk when the same thing happens to me. Sending hugs and a gentle kick in the tush! lol.

Don't get stuck in shame. if you must, instead take the "RUN of shame". Do it quick and then get back on track towards your goals. I burned about 1000 more calories this week then last and i gained about 1 lb too. I was annoyed but focused on what workouts i would do and did not overate at lunch because i was annoyed.

things dont always go swimmingly emoticon . sometimes we have to fight harder emoticon

No shame - it happens - and sometimes I find my weight drops when I haven't been doing as well. Bodies do their own things sometimes. Don't let it disappoint you too much. emoticon

Sometimes it is just the time of the month; so don't beat yourself up. This too shall pass.

It happens occasionally. Weigh daily for a few days at the same time of day and see what happens. It could be water. emoticon
