Welcome back! I am recently getting back into SparkPeople as well after a little hiatus. I hope you find ways to exercise with the weather! I live in Kansas and we just got a foot of snow yesterday, so I've been going to the gym or doing short video workouts in my apartment (from the SparkPeople website). Maybe take this time when you can't go outside to really focus on nutrition? Good luck!

I can tell that you are full of vitality and vigor. Good for you to come back.
One of the things that I've learned to love is Zumba dancing. I say learned because although I like to dance I never saw it as a regular thing. However, I would suggest that you find your fav songs, bands, etc. and "practice" dancing on a regular basis. Make a date with yourself and enjoy!!! Good Luck!

Hi Allie! Love your video blog. I would say if you cannot exercise outside, the next best option for you is to join classes that are fun. Doing something like zumba or yoga where you are dancing or meditating will give you a whole new outlook on things. People who also use the Wii fit for exercise seem to enjoy it more than other videos or tapes. The most important this is to create a consistent habit of it. Only have 5 minutes everyday? That's a great start! Don't worry about the time or intensity, just focus on DOING IT. Make it become part of you. Then build on that. HUGS.
