Getting easier

Doing things is starting to get easier I feel like my motivation is starting to return again. The food changes to my diet don't feel as drastic, the portion changes still feel depressing though. In time I imagine that wont bother me so much either. Food has always been an escape and now I have to escape food if that makes sense lol oh well.

    I totally get what you mean by escaping food. Everything I have done in my life has been marked by what food was around.

    Remember, you can eat virtually unlimited amounts of most vegetables. When you're feeling deprived by those smaller servings, go ahead and heap up your plate with veggies.
    Another trick they taught us in my Core group was that you can actually trick your brain by using smaller serving plates. Your brain triggers on the fact that the plate is fun, not that it's only a 9" and not a 12" one. Try it. We did an experiment at one of our group sessions, and even understanding the objective of the exercise, I guessed wrong a lot of the time as to which serving wa the larger one.

    That's awesome! But... I think it has nothing to do with your motivation. You are taking control of your (diet) life. And in that case, with or without movition you are in charge!
