Big temperature jump for us..12 degrees this afternoon.. awaiting the storm tonight.. hopefully they will be wrong and we do not get the brunt of it. Let us all dream of that Arctic Vortex sucking the whole storm cloud up high and back down on the polar ice cap, where it is needed.

I do know something is going to happen: every joint and muscle in my body aches to beat the band..

got to wait until Friday to take a pain pill..

Everybody stay indoors,, do not be a hero to shovel snow: my co-worker told me her neighbor walked outdoors and found HER neighbor dead on the sidewlk with a shovel in her hand yesterday.

Shovelling snow is not what killed your neighbor. Being inactive the other 364 days of the year killed him. Or so my doctor tells me. Snow shovelling is great exercise. But like any exercise, it should be done intelligently. I always shovel my own snow. There is a certain zen state about it. I get into a zone and a rhythm and I can shovel snow for hours ... and often do.
