Work hard to stay motivated!

Monday, February 03, 2014

These last few weeks have been very busy for me, and I have struggled a lot with planning ahead for meals and for exercise. I have gained about a pound... and continue to hover in that area... but no losses.
This week I am kicking things off again and looking forward to some more results. I need to start going ALL IN for this weight loss!

I have spent the last few days daydreaming about my future body, but nothing is going to happen if I don't try.

While my last few weeks have been busy, I am going to start setting aside more time during the day to properly meal plan for the week, and I'm going to try to exercise three different times.

on a side note:

I am looking for an inexpensive, lightweight, exercise shoe. does anyone have any suggestions? I have a pair of Nike's that I have owned for a few years, and for whatever reason when i have used them lately, my heal gets extremely painful blisters! no fun. It definitely doesn't motivate working out, haha.
If anyone has some ideas, please let me know! Thank you.

Good socks and shoes that fit comfortably and don't cause any discomfort in your feet are pretty much the criteria for best success. Worst case scenario, push through and make callouses! :D lol, not ideal, but yeah. Hope you've managed to have a few good months, this journey isn't an easy one by far, but it's never too late to restart and re-focus. Hope you're doing well!

I definitley feel you on having a busy week. I was in bed for a few days and then jumped right on the never stopping train. I haven't weighed myself and I am slightly afraid to but that is the plan for tomorrow morning. You realized what is going on in your busy life and have made a plan which is great! Keep up the good work!!

If your shoes are old, this is probably why they are beginning to irritate your feet. I would say go to Finishline.com or Eastbay.com and click on the the sale or clearance section and look there. Or you might be able to find a workout shoe at Target or Walmart that would be sufficient for the type of exercise you do. Target has some super cute Champion brand shoes that are very colorful.

As far as the gain, you've recognized it so now you can stop it from continuing.

I wear New Balance 412s. I had Nike's forever, when I tried on this shoe though... it was like my life changed! I have been converted to New Balances wholly.

I need about 27 hours in a day to get everything I need to do done...
