NSV in the middle of uncertainty

On Saturday, we were supposed to be closing today. By Monday, that had been moved to tomorrow. However, since we chose a bank that was based in the South, and their mortgage centers have been closed for 2 days due to the massive storm that just came through, we don't know if we'll be closing tomorrow at all. We're just waiting to hear whether or not they're going to be able to work some magic to get us in our house this weekend.
In the midst of all that, I decided I wanted to wear tennis shoes to work today (either that or ballet flats), so I looked for something other than jeans. I pulled out my khakis, which had been too small the last time I tried them on, and tried them. I was thinking that it couldn't hurt. If they didn't fit, I could stick them into a box to move to the new house. Amazingly, they weren't embarrassingly tight, and the cottage cheese effect on the backs of my legs wasn't really visible. Those squats and kettlebell swings really did pay off. I guess I should keep them up. So, even though my weight hasn't changed, and my measurements haven't exactly gone down, my pants are fitting better. I have also shrunken out of my Lane Bryant 4's from years ago. I'm actually down to being able to wear pretty much anything in my closet. IT also means that shopping for pants (namely khakis) won't be nearly as trying.
So excited! Now, I just have to keep on track and keep swinging that kettlebell. By the way, I need a bigger one at some point...
