Long winters nap

Wednesday, January 29, 2014

Greetings Sparklers!!

How are all you fine folks? Things chugging along here. Brrrr...very cold but grateful I don't have to go out in it daily. My mom and I get to stay in our pajama's most of the time and indoors, so we have that going for us! :) Been extra tired lately, found out my thyroid was low and D3 way low so that's good to know!

Had about 3 workouts in for the entire month....was using that as an excuse to put off full effort, found myself saying, "Eh, I'll wait until the beginning of the month", laid in bed and watched Bravo but then tapped into some motivation and got up and did a late workout that day`. Due for another big one today but woke up wide awake at 4am, not able to workout anywhere in the house at that time....and feeling well, sleepy now that it's edging up to 8am. aching for a nap. In the big scheme of things no real reason I can't get a workout in at one point or another, just boils down to laziness. I DO know one thing for sure; I was so happy to be comfortable in the terrible heat last summer (from weight loss) and happy to be able to bare more skin and wear cute clothes......that I need to keep that in mind before the time is here and I uncover a less the healthy bod, under all these long layers.....

So glad you got a medical reason for your low motivation. I hope your thyroid medication makes a difference. Hang in there...spring is on its way. emoticon
