Its been a while since Ive been here. I was determined to lose weight and I did lose some 47 lbs in 2013; but what side-tracked me was the personal growth that seemed so necessary to success. Ive spent time, slow and steady, learning to identify depression and self-sabotage and practice self-forgiveness. With those new skills in mind (literally :-) LOL) I am progressing again slowly but steadily. There will always be the necessity to identify and Stop when the self-talk becomes self-defeating; but practice comes easier with time. I've been keeping a Mood Journal App on my phone and have discovered that, despite my thoughts, I 'feel good' more often than I thought. I recommend the App if you are not sure sometimes if you ever 'feel good'! It's free and has been helpful. Good Luck to all as we continue our amazing journeys!
