3 For 3!

The opening of my gym was three days ago and I've made it there each day! I'm proud of myself in finding ways to get there even with my extremely busy schedule!

I'm a bit concerned about my knee. I've had problems with it for awhile. Just a little twinge of pain at the right top of the knee cap. For the past few months the back of my knee has been hurting, on the right side. If I stretch my leg straight out on the ottoman it hurts or even when I'm driving. Sometimes my knee wants to give out on me in that spot. All of that was without exercising.

Now that I'm exercising it's yelling at me more. I've just been doing the treadmill at a walk and today did the bike. For some reason the bike hurt it more.

I've been icing but I think I might have to get a knee brace to keep it more secure during workouts.

Weigh-in is on Monday. I'm looking forward to see what these three days of working out, and eating within my calorie range, will bring.

    I agree with Dusty: we have to be super-careful with our knees. They are an evolutionary weak spot! There are some good exercises here on Spark to strengthen the muscles that support the knee and they really help. Slow and steady will win this race!

    That's great Krista you're liking the new gym.

    Please be careful of your knee! So many injure their knee(s) especially those who weigh around what we do.

    Don't risk injury just because you "feel" you've got to keep up with everyone else.

    There are plenty of upper body exercise you can do in the meantime.
