For our purposes, the definitions relating to money specifically won't apply. However, we do need to learn to manage "a condition in which different elements are equal or in the correct proportions."
I know I struggle constantly with balance of my life as was demonstrated last week when I allowed one are a of my life to overrun my mind and heart and completely disassemble my life.
We often use the swing scale to represent all the elements in life we have to put into perspective and manage as it so readily goes out of balance when one side becomes heavier than the other.
As I grow older, an hopefully wiser, I find that balance is more easily achieved when I take better care of me. When my mind, body, heart & spirit are in balance, the other events in my life seem to stay in balance also. The full moon and its strong water pull can unbalance the body disrupts daily balances. Sadness can set the balance of several of the ME factors out of whack. I like the definition of Balance as the Art Harmony of design and proportion as I love art and relate well to the color, proportions and lines within the balance of a piece of art. I find it gives me balance.. perhaps a new way to look at life balancing for me.
