I may have already known this but actually didn't realize it was true until today. I woke up with a lot of energy so I popped in an exercise video and spent 30 minutes sweating up a storm. Then I made a really good breakfast and took a shower. I had a good lunch a few hours later and didn't eat again until dinner. It's 7:30pm now and I don't feel hungry like I normally do. I tracked all of my food today and I have come in under my calorie goal but I don't feel like snacking in order to reach my goal.
Long story short, exercising first thing has lowered my appetite today. I know when I was taking a wellness class, I noticed my appetite was lowered as I increased the amount of time I spent exercising. I just never noticed that morning exercise lowered appetite for the day. I'll need to keep an eye on this because I rarely have the time to exercise first thing in the morning but it certainly motivates me to try it again.
