Celebrate Good Times!

Tuesday, January 21, 2014

Couple of things I want to celebrate today - One of my neighbors is home from the hospital after an extended trip. It was great to see them. It helped that they noticed my weight loss, but I really do care about this person and am glad they are home.

The next thing is, I have been up for almost 4 hours and not needed my morning dose of meds to get moving. I have actually done dishes, cleaned the dog bowls, watered plants (which I have tons of!), mopped part of the floor, and made breakfast. This is HUGE! Before cleaning up the foods I was eating I used to have to take pain meds first thing in the morning, wait for them to kick in, and then get up. I am doing amazing when it comes to my meds! One year ago I was filling 17 prescriptions a month. This month, I filled FIVE! Yay!!

I didn't weigh today, but I am between 26 and 27 lbs lost based on the last few days of weighing. Not bad for 8 weeks! I am loving this way of eating.

Grain Brain and Wheat Belly have helped me so much!
