So today was the "official" day of LC.
This morning I had an egg and cream cheese thing my mom made, bacon, and a cinnamon & flax seed muffin. The egg thing was okay but nothing to write home about. The bacon was great ( I love bacon anyways) and the muffin was surprisingly good.
It tasted like banana nut bread without the banana. I kept waiting for the banana and didn't get it. I put softened cream cheese on it. Mom used butter. I didn't like it with the butter but was good with the cream cheese.
For lunch I had a baked boneless/skinless chicken breast and some broccoli with cheese. It was about 2pm before I started to get hungry which was amazing. My lunch filled me up.
For dinner I wasn't really hungry but ate with everyone else. Mom and I had a hamburger patty with cheese, green beans, and cauliflower tots. The cauliflower tots were NOT good.
We won't be doing those again. I didn't eat very much, like I said I wasn't really hungry.
About 9pm I was getting kind of hungry and wanted something sweet, dessert.
Mom had made jello but it wasn't set up yet. So she found a recipe for a chocolate cake.
It was soooo good. She made whipped cream to go on top. That hit the spot!
I drank water all day except at dinner, I had a Coke Zero.
I didn't do any exercises today but I've been reading that if you're not already a person that exercises you don't want to jump into the exercising when first starting a LC diet. Too much for your body to try to adjust to at once. So I will try to do a little bit of some of the smaller videos but am trying to focus on the diet part right now.
My dad's been laughing at my mom and I. But today he fell coming up the steps outside. Both of his legs cramped up at once he just brought him down. I told him that he needed to be drinking more water and needs to start walking some. His legs are bad to begin with but I told him to do small steps. Start with walking from his chair at the table to the TV and back about 3 times during the day. Then he can work up to walking to the mail box and back. Then hopefully he can work up to walking with me down our road.
I doubt he will do it but I'm really hoping he does. He does nothing but sit at the table watching TV and smoking all day and all night.
Tomorrow I'm going to my friend's house to make soap. She's suppose to start the LC diet with me but she's going on vacation this week and is gonna wait till she gets back. So I was thinking about what am I going to eat for lunch over there. I think I'm gonna take some turkey lunch meat spread with cream cheese and maybe some cucumbers and some water.
I just have to start thinking about things like this. If I'm gonna be somewhere where there is food, I either need to eat before I go or bring stuff with me so I'm not tempted to eat the things I don't need and end up blowing this thing.
I'm starting to get excited about it.
Looking forward to seeing if I really can lose weight on the LC diet.
