SO I made juice last night for me to drink all day today. I put celery, 1/4 of a cucumber, carrots, cilantro, parsley, and apples. I was worried at first it was going to taste bad, but it doesn't taste bad at all, I am still gagging though when I drink it. I used almost a whole bag of apples, when I make tomorrows juice I will use a whole bag of apples, I like it to have a sweeter taste. I am going to try and juice till next Sunday, I will do it for a little longer than a week. I am wanting to go vegan, so this is my kickstart into doing that. I had a small grape slush from sonic yesterday and I thought it was so gross. I had not had one in over a month, probably more like 2 months. I only craved sugar the other day and was not satisfied with anything I had, the mountain dew was like drinking straight up sugar, it was so nasty. I made some vegan thin mints, well that was the recipe, they came out more like peppermint brownies, they were that bad. I can only get vegan chocolate chips from Whole Foods and the closest one in and hour away, I have heard a lot of people say we need one here, but Whole Foods just doesn't care. I will go to the Whole Foods in Nashville Monday I will get some then. I find out how my asthma is doing Monday, must be doing well since I have taking my Advair in over 2 months, can't afford to get it. IT's sad when you have to pick and choose which prescriptions you have to get, and I cant live without my bi-polar meds, but my insurance will only pay for 5 prescriptions a month, beggars cant be choosers. Sad thing is once Spring gets here I Will have to have the Advair, my allergies start getting bad then. I am just glad I am feeling better today, I have felt bad the past few days, I know I started feeling bad when I ate things that werent oh so good for you, goes to show food does play a part on how you feel.     Hi Alhoover81. Keep at it. My daughter-in-law has started juicing in the mornings only. She said it was nasty at first but she uses yogurt, soy milk and such to make it more pleasant. All of which add to the price I am sure. Keep at it and never give up. Maybe the life changes you are making will help with your allergies and/or bipolar. You are so right--we are what we eat. Good luck with your A+ training--what is that?
