Day 5 & 6- 30 Day Challenge

So I woke up this morning and I realized that I forgot to blog yesterday. In regards to the workouts, day 5 was the same as day 3, so really there wasn't much to tell other than I did get that 2 mile classic walk in and I also did my elliptical and my kettlebell workout yesterday. This is a good thing, since I had a little incident with some homemade frosting and whip cream. I really need to stop baking. But enough confessional, let's talk about today's workout.
Today was from the same dvd as yesterday, but this was called a 2 mile power express walk. If you have knee problems, this routine might not be for you. There is light jogging, twisting, and bouncing(which kinda simulates jumping rope), which could be really rough on the feet, knees, hips, lower back, etc. You could still do the dvd, but instead of doing the power surge movements, you could just walk to the fast pace. The fact is, just getting moving is what it's all about.
Tomorrow is the rest day for this challenge, but I am actually doing a 5k tomorrow, so no rest for me. I will post about the 5k and how I did. I have goal to finish it in 40 minutes or less. This might be an ambitious goal, but I think it could be doable. We'll see.
