Are the SP powers trying to read my mind or maybe just mad at me?

Yesterday I did blog a complaint about one particular pop-up ad. Today I logged in to discover that I already had earned one point in my nutrition tracker. HUH? I haven’t eaten or recorded anything yet.
I’ve heard that some people eat while asleep. I guarantee that I’ve never sparked while asleep.
Let’s see what SP thinks I’ve consumed.
There’s one item listed for today’s dinner.
Green Giant Healthy Weight (2/3 cup prepared) 1 serving … 90 calories
It’s not in my favorites. I’ve never searched for it. I don’t even know what it is.
Now I see that there’s a big Green Giant ad to the right of my tracker and it’s thanking me for adding Green Giant to my plan. No! I didn’t!
My mother used to tell me to eat my vegetables. Is this the digital equivalent?
Can an advertisement also add an item to my tracker now?
Is this the spark equivalent of identity theft? Tracker theft?
Is this somehow MY fault?
Does anyone have an explanation?
The ad has a “click to learn more” button. I’m afraid to do that. They might ship me a month’s supply complete with invoice.
I do have an ad blocker on my computer which is about 1 year old. Only on SP are these particularly annoying things happening. I don't mind the ads that are not intrusive. I understand they are necessary, but this is crazy.
At Giniemie's suggestion I emailed tech support and they responded quickly that they had "removed the item from my tracker." I replied - Thank you, but my question was WHY did it happen and how do I keep it from happening again. Otherwise we will all have to check our trackers very carefully to be sure nothing has been added automatically.
