Beck Diet for Life

I got both the pink and green Beck books from the library a few weeks back. (I had to renew them because I wasn't ready to give them back.) I started reading them before/during the holidays with the plan of getting serious about the skills in January. I have got a lot out of the books and I really think this is something that is going to help me.
Right now I am two years into this thing and really only half way there. Thankfully, I have found some new things to work on in the two books. It is giving me a new focus for the new year. I finished the pink book and made a card for each of the 42 days so that I could refer to them later when the book goes back to the library. I am now about a third of the way through the second book. Today, I am on the lesson about giving yourself credit.
I deserve credit today for getting my 10,000 steps in, for keeping motivated by visiting Spark and some other online weight loss hang outs, for having a successful low carb day today and most definitely for not quitting whenever it got tough over the last couple of years. Today was a good day. If you are reading this and haven't read the books by Judith Beck I highly recommend them. :)
